You're asking the wrong questions
what else can I say
You're asking the wrong questions
look at it this way
the ark was about to fall
the cart tipped in the mud
a hand reached out to stop it
death to the one who touched
You're asking the wrong questions
what else can I say
You're asking the wrong questions
look at it this way
their blood mixed with the sacrifice
a tower tumbled and fell
seeking an understanding
with what eyes do tell
You're asking the wrong questions
what else can I say
You're asking the wrong questions
look at it this way.
Richard.

East of Eden
We live east of Eden
in a dry and barren place
wanting to re-enter
flaming swords await
angels guard the gate
dry, barren wasteland
full of pain and strife
not what was intended
who can make it right
we suffer in our plight
coming forth from Judah
born of David's son
the path back to Eden
the journey has begun
God sent His only Son
the journey back
has been laid out
it's plain for all to see
He gave at great loss
was nailed to a cross
rising east of Eden
brighter than the sun
coming on the clouds
the new world has begun
living east of Eden.
