The Bible

For me, the Bible has become fodder, manna from Heaven if you will. Daily food that puts my focus on Jesus. It's not a study of theology, or an exercise in memorization, it's a longing for the Spirit to speak, to illuminate treasures of truth, in a new light that's speaks to the struggles and triumphs of this journey he is guiding me on, as I am transformed into His likeness. I don't read because I have to, I read because I long too, I long to see the face of my Lord and Savior, not that He is contained in the pages of the book, but because they are His words of Love to me. From cover to cover every thought, every theme, every book points to the One, Triune God and His passion for His lost Love.

If there is a Standard in my life, it is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Counselor and Comforter. The Bible is just one of the tools He uses as I am molded into a new creation.
