Mountains out of mole hills
Making mountains out of mole hills
That's what I've done
It all became clear
In the Colorado sun
Standing before me
A daunting task
The peak of Mt. Quandary
at the heart of the task
Looking for God
every step of the way
I continually kept asking
Why am I here today
What will You show me
am I here for them
the questions kep[t coming
all directed at Him
Higher and higher
I continued to climb
stopping to marvel
at His Grand design
being filled up
to take a few more steps
turning around again
to breath in His breath
Little by little
for much of the day
I slowly continually
made my way
The Summit was beautiful
The climb down was tough
all the time I kept asking
what's really up
Sleep was most welcomed
the pain set deep within
I woke to the question
I'd been asking of Him
What do You want to show me
Show me the way
I'm here and I'm listening
I've got all day
Later that afternoon
It all became clear
I'd been making mountains out of mole hill
for many many years
The mountain was daunting
a grueling task
but I'd made it up there
riding on His back
If He would take me to those heights
What do I have to fear
The mountains I'd made of mole hills
suddenly disappeared
I ride with more confidence than ever before
My strength been renewed in Him
I'm trusting Him more
Away from the mountain
I did take
a new sense of dependence
Thank You God for Your Grace

Religion or Relationship
religion offers heaven
freedom from pain disease
more money in your pocket
if you become like me
talk this way
dress like this
don't do nothing bad
if you do
you'll go to hell
and that would be just sad.
well that's just not working
that not what it says
that's not what I'm after
get that in your head
I'm looking for relationship
to know Him and be known

not a shiny bigger home
a hand in hand
